Tell us a little about yourselves:
David and I were both born and raised in the New Orleans area. David went to John Curtis and Katelyn went to Mount Carmel Academy. David is in sales and Katelyn is a Speech Language Pathologist. They are also dog parents to a morkie named Reese.

How did the proposal go? Who proposed to who, were you surprised?
David proposed at Messinas at the Terminal!

Where was your ceremony held and why did you pick this site?
Our ceremony was held at Our Lady of the Rosary.

Where was your Reception held and why did you pick this site?
Our reception was at Messinas at the Terminal. We had our second date at the Terminal, and David proposed there! It has always been a special place to us!

Pick one moment in the day that was your favorite thing?
My favorite moment of the day was walking down the aisle. When the church doors opened, it was so surreal seeing David at the end of the aisle with so many familiar faces smiling at me! I wish I could have frozen time at that moment!
Did it really go by as quickly as everyone says?

What was the inspiration behind picking the color palette and decor that you picked?
I have always wanted a spring wedding. The color palette was inspired by my favorite spring flower, the blue hydrangea.

Did you have a coordinator or did you plan everything yourself? If you didn’t have a coordinator any advice for brides planning their own wedding?
We did not have a coordinator. My mom and I handled all the details!

We work really hard to help come up with a timeline and plan for the portrait list to make sure you are getting the most out of your day. How useful was this for you?
It was perfect!! The day ran so smoothly, and I did not feel rushed at all!
