How did you meet?
Through our fathers, they worked together and hunt together

what is your favorite thing about each other? 
We are both so laid back and like the same things. For my junior prom we have a picture together both holding our hunting rifles.. that about sums up our relationship haha!

How did the proposal go? 
We were on a hunting trip in Missouri and it was our last day, I shot a doe that morning and his dad came meet us to help us find it and drag it out of the woods.. well after taking pictures with it he stayed down on one knee and distracted me by giving me the tags to put on the deer and when I looked back down at him he had the ring out and of course I said yes! His dad caught the whole thing in video. I always knew it would happen while we were on a hunting trip.

Where was your ceremony held and why did you pick this site?
St Joseph’s Catholic Church, we both grew up here and it’s just such a beautiful church

Where was your Reception held and why did you pick this site?
St James Boat Club, that was the one thing Dustin definitely wanted and it was perfect for his big family

What unique or special things did you do at the reception? 
We had an in memory table set up right when you walked through the doors which was very special to us especially since the last few years have been very rough with losing loved ones.

What was your favorite part of the day?
My favorite part was walking down the isle and seeing Dustin waiting for me

Did it really go by as quickly as everyone says?
Not as fast as I thought it would, it was perfect just to soak everything in

What was the inspiration behind picking the color palette and decor that you picked?
Purple has always been my favorite color but when we picked February I knew I wanted a dusty purple with gold.. also elegance, everything came out even better than I imagined

From the Bride – When you first saw the groom, what were you thinking/feeling?
I couldn’t believe that the moment was finally here, and definitely relieved… I wasn’t as nervous and I expected

From the groom – When you first saw the bride, what were you thinking/feeling?
I was excited and couldn’t believe how beautiful she looked

Who was your baker, what was the flavor of your cake? Was it delicious?!
Rhonda Louque did all of our cakes.. the wedding cake was white and the grooms cake was chocolate, they were amazing!

Did you do a first look? If so how did you feel about it? If not, do you wish you had?
No, and I’m glad we didn’t. I didn’t want him to see me until we walked down the aisle

Did you have a coordinator or did you plan everything yourself? If you didn’t have a coordinator any advice for brides planning their own wedding?
We did everything ourselves… have everything organized and had lists made! It makes everything go so smoothly

What was your first dance song? Why this song?
Making Me Look Good Again by Drake White

Dustin picked it and it was so different than anything else we’ve ever heard as a first dance

Band or DJ? Did they rock it?
Band they were AMAZING
