Lily and Behrouz Persian Wedding
Lily and Behrouz had an extremely vibrant and ornate Sofreh Aghd covered with delicious delicacies and beautiful decorative items, each with its particular symbolism for their marriage. The Sofreh Aghd represents elements and blessings for the couple’s new life together and is considered the most important element of a traditional Persian ceremony. Lily and Behrouz had close family hold the Torreh ghanh over their heads while other family members took turns grinding sugar over them.
Nioz and Parker Persian Wedding
Nioz and Parker had an equally stunning and ornate Sofreh Aghd but went with more neutral colors. One of our favorite parts of their ceremony was when Parker had to ask Nioz three times for her consent to marry. She sure did make him squirm, and there was so much loving fun and laughter from the family and friends in attendance. She did say Yes!
