How did you meet?
We met after we graduated from LSU through friends.

How did the proposal go? Who proposed to who, were you surprised?
Justin proposed in Breckinridge, Colorado. We were on a trip with friends and we all went on a “hike”. Overlooking the beautiful scenery with snow capped mountain surrounding us, Justin asked me to be his wife! I was totally surprised!!!

Where was your ceremony held and why did you pick this site?
The ceremony was at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary.

Where was your Reception held and why did you pick this site?
The reception was at the Arbor Room in City Park. We loved this site because of the beautiful fountain and surrounding windows in the venue.

What unique or special things did you do at the reception? 
Grooms cake, Sign in picture, Koozies, Cookies, Bubbles for exit

Did it really go by as quickly as everyone says?
Yes!!!!! Enjoy every moment!

rom the Bride – When you first saw the groom, what were you thinking/feeling?
Excitement! I giggled the whole way down the aisle!

Who was your baker, what was the flavor of your cake? Was it delicious?!
Haydels- pralean! Super delicious
Grooms cake- The Royal Cakery strawberry, caramel, red velvet

id you do a first look? If so how did you feel about it? If not, do you wish you had?
We did not do a first look. I am glad that we didn’t. I wanted our special moment to be the second our eyes met at the church.

Did you have a coordinator or did you plan everything yourself? If you didn’t have a coordinator any advice for brides planning their own wedding?
I planed everything myself, with the help of my mom and mother in law. My suggestion would be to book the big things first (venue, band, photographer, etc.) and make tons of lists so you can be as organized as possible!

Band or DJ? Did they rock it?
Band! August Rush was SO fun!
