| Include a little bit about yourselves. What do you do? Lee is a physical therapist and I am a nurse at East Jefferson. We are both in the healthcare field! | |

| How did the proposal go? Who proposed to who, were you surprised? Amanda thought Lee was going to wait till he graduated in May to propose. And she mentioned it everyday for about 9 years….. ok not everyday until the last year lol. He finally surprised her before May for her birthday weekend in September. She was completely surprised! They picked out rings together of what she wanted but had no clue he had a ring to propose. We went to lunch at Jack Rose then he proposed in front of The Chloe on our way to drinks! We had a party after with our family and friends! | |
| Where was your ceremony held and why did you pick this site? St. Anthony of Padua. It was where Amanda’s mom and grandma got married and a beautiful church! | |
| Where was your Reception held and why did you pick this site? Omni royal Orleans. For the beautiful ballroom and crystal chandeliers. We wanted to be in the quarter to have the true New Orleans feeling and it was perfect! | |

| Pick one moment in the day that was your favorite thing? Experiencing the band on the dance floor with our family and friends!! They were so awesome | |
| Did it really go by as quickly as everyone says? Yes and no! But I am so glad we did a 4 hour reception it didn’t feel too short! | |
| What was the inspiration behind picking the color palette and decor that you picked? Amanda’s favorite color is pink so soft lush pinks and whites tied into the Omni’s New Orleans style ballroom was the perfect romantic classic wedding style | |

| Did you do a first look? If so how did you feel about it? If not, do you wish you had? Yes! I was skeptical bc I wanted the first time we saw each other to be the church but I am so glad Corine and the wedding planner talked us into it! We were about to have our moment together, take our pictures, and I still cried my eyes out walking down the aisle so it clearly was still special | |
| Did you have a coordinator or did you plan everything yourself? If you didn’t have a coordinator any advice for brides planning their own wedding? We had a day of/month of coordinator but my mom and I planned the wedding ourselves! | |
| What was your first dance song? Why this song? Perfect by end sheeran we have completely different music tastes and one of our first dates was jazz fest before prom and ed Sheeran performed | |
| Band or DJ? Did they rock it? Band rouge Krewe they were awesome and completely made the wedding! Everyone keeps talking about them! | |
