How did you meet?
I was bartending at chimes, a bar in covington, and he was the beer salesman. He came in one night and we started talking about sports then ended up taking me to a pelicans game the weekend after we met. The rest is history!!

Include a little bit about yourselves. What do you do?
We both love the New Orleans Saints and pelicans!!

Jesse: loves the beach, her dogs and shopping, works as a sales rep for southern glazers wine and spirits

Robert: loves watching and playing soccer. Works as an on premise manager for champagne beverage.

How did the proposal go? Who proposed to who, were you surprised?
Robert proposed to Jesse outside the Superdome on December 28th 2016. He planned on going to a Pelicans game and wanted to send pictures of champions square to his friend in Memphis. The minute we walked down the stairs into Champion Square, he got down on one knee. He also had his best friend snap pictures of the proposal

Where was your ceremony held and why did you pick this site?
The ceremony was at immaculate conception Jesuit church. Robert chose this location because it was really beautiful, great location and his mom was friends with the wedding coordinator. Everything we heard about this location was nothing but perfect!

Where was your Reception held and why did you pick this site?
The reception was at club xliv in champion square. We choose this location because we hang out in there every saints pregame and that is the area where he proposed.

What unique or special things did you do at the reception?
We Had A Live Painter, Glow Sticks That Kept The Children Entertained, Photo Booth, And A Fabulous Band!

What was your favorite part of the day?
Walking down the aisle to my future husband. This was an image we will never forget.

From the groom – When you first saw the bride, what were you thinking/feeling?
Unbelievable and Anxious, Excited, Rush Of Emotion

From the Bride – When you first saw the groom, what were you thinking/feeling?
Anxious, Excited, Blessed

Who made that fabulous cake?!
Stephanie, Les Amis, in Baton Rouge, la. Yes it was excellent!

Did you do a first look?
We did not do a first look. The bride did a first look with her father, brothers, and granddaddy. It was perfect and everything she could have imagined. Very touching in so many ways.

Did you have a coordinator or did you plan everything yourself?
I did have a coordinator, also had my mom, step mom and sister that helped out so much!

Band or DJ? Did they rock it?
Groovy 7 was the absolute best!! Couldn’t have asked for a better band!

We want to hear YOUR advice for future brides.
Relax and go with the flow. Enjoy the day because it flies by! Make sure you invest your money in a great photographer and videographer. Also the live painter was very impressive

Anything else you want to say?
Studio Tran was there every time we needed them. They were great and we couldn’t have asked for a better night! Who dat!
