How we met?
We met on a football trip to Memphis. We danced until 5am in the morning. We kept saying to each other that we should do this again. Nothing happened, until the Mean Green made it to the New Orleans Bowl for the fourth consecutive year. There he was, Brian Bethea, dancing his pockets off in Razoos. He asked me to dance. I said, "I need a hurricane first." I got a hurricane from Pat O's and the rest is history. We have been practiclly inseparable since then.
The Proposal?
Brian and I flew down to New Orleans to visit his family for Christmas. The whole time I kept telling him that I wanted to go to Pat O's and have a hurricane. Pat O's piano bar is the first place that Brian ever took me. Stacey, Brad, Darrell, Brian, and I head down to Bourbon St. to Pat O's piano bar. Brian asks me if I want to go outside, because he has a headache. Relunctantly I said yes. I was having a good time and didn't really want to go outside. Brian suggest that we go stand by the water fountain. Brian and I were hugging and kissing and he was telling me how much he loves me and I said "prove it". I know that sounds mean, but it is an inside joke between the two of us. All of the sudden Brian is down on one knee and I am like what is going on. Then the couple behind us yell, "Everyone he is proposing!!!" Then I throw my hands out and say "I don't believe it!!". The table besides us said "Did you hear that? She just said that she doesn't believe it". Brian asked and I said yes! Awe!
Why Southern Oaks?
Southern Oaks Plantation is a beautiful location. Great food, great price, great service... what else is there to say?
Why Beebe Tran?
Beebe was great! Always listing to our questions and requests. We could not have asked for a better photographer. We can't wait to see the photos!!!
Thoughts on the day?
It was a great day! Everything just fell right into place. From pre-wedding to wedding to reception all was great! What great memories that will last a lifetime. |

From Our Bride
How They met:
we met at a bar in houston, tx over 4 years ago on valentine's day! we were both with friends and I hit on Sebastian, twice...I really liked his shirt and we found out that we were both Longhorns that grew up in Louisiana. A week later, we went on our first date...and the rest is history!
The Proposal
The Propsal? April 23, 2006...Sebastian and I were travelling in China and we took a day trip to a remote part of the Great Wall of China. He told me to run up this long stretch of wall and when he met me, he proposed....I blacked out but remember crying and nodding alot!
The Venue
The Elms Mansion
beautiful home in the garden district and it was close to where Sebastian grew up in Louisiana. We loved the outside garden area and fell in love with the inside of the home, which could serve as a good backup location for the ceremony in case it rained. Luckily, the weather cleared up on our big day! Faith, the owner, made the day INCREDIBLE!! The food was great, everyone had a great time and I highly recommend this venue!
The Photographer
Corine was AWESOME!! I saw a couple of pictures on the day of the wedding, but I can't wait to see them all. She was extremely professional and flexible...we took pictures beforehand at the park and then at Sebastian's home. She was so nice to our families...thanks so much for everything Corine!! I know the pictures are going to be awesome and we can't wait to see them. Sebastian & I loved Corine's style of photography, we loved how she captured 'unposed' candid moments & we were excited that she was able to photograph our wedding!
Thoughts about the day
The most amazing day of our lives. After the wedding, sebastian and I stayed up until 3:30am talking about how much fun it was. It was worth every penny and all the stress in the months leading up to it.

Tonight we photographed Willy & Gabriel's wedding at beautiful Southern Oaks Plantation. Earlier today we picked up our new Cameras, Nikon D700 from Lakeside camera. Scott is awesome and always helps us with everything! I got a new lens, the Nikkor 14-24mm... its so sexy. We were just goofing around before anything started and took some silly pictures. We were working with our good friends Melanie & Christine from Blink Video.

Everytime we walk into a reception venue and see the Bucktown Allstars we know the night is gonna be a rock star party! For some reason it has become a weird tradition that they heist us up on their shoulders. First it started with them doing it to Beebe... then me, then my assistant Kristin. When I saw that Bucktown was playing for Tatiana & J.Z.'s wedding and my newest assistant Erica was there I knew I had to make sure they gave her the grand initiation! Erica actually knew one of the guys, he was a music teacher at her high school!
Anyway, here is Erica, our new assistant. |

| The 3 of us... poor Bee was working alone. |

| No one escapes going on the drummers shoulders! |

| Here is Beebe's view! He's usually working alone so no one gets a picture of him on the shoulders. |

| Ok, we found a picture of Bee... |
