Carlos + Christine

|

| Carlos and Christine had a beautiful wedding at the New Orleans Board of Trade. Even though there was rain in the forecast and some sprinkles happening, it was still beautiful and this gorgeous couple still had an awesome wedding! |

| Makes you wonder what Carlos whispered in her ear to get this laugh. |

| Love this, like no one else exists. |

| It was wet but we ran out in the sprinkles anyway. |

How you met
We met through mutual friends. Our best friends kept trying to set us up- finally we gave in. :)
The Proposal
Carlos proposed last Easter. Both of our families were together and he asked me to take a walk along the lake. And he proposed at the lake and we went back to my parents house after to celebrate with everyone.
Why Studio Tran?
I did alot of research for a photographer. I wanted the best pictures because its something that lasts forever. Studio Tran is the best in the city. We are so happy with our choice. Their pictures are just amazing!
Other favorite vendors/Wedding Day Thoughts
We really loved all of our vendors. Our day was just perfect! |

How they met & the proposal
Troy and I met through mutual friends about 7 years ago. We didn't start dating until about 2 years later. We were together through Hurricane Katrina and a little over a year later, I found out I was pregnant. We decided to wait until after the baby was born to get married because we wanted to make sure that was what we both wanted. About 7 months after our daughter Bria was born, Troy proposed. I made sure that I let him know that I wanted Bria to be a part of the proposal. So the 3 of us went to Celebration in the Oaks a few days before Christmas in 2007 and he planned on proposing on the train ride. But of course I had to ruin that by saying the ticket line was too long as well as the train ride. He asked if I was ready to go and I said I guess so. He suggested that we walk around a little while longer. He took me to the botanical gardens and that's where he proposed.
Why Studio Tran
We decided to go with Studio Tran because we heard good things about Beebe and Corine through some of our friends. I made a few appointments with some different photographers but met with Beebe first. He was so personable and helpful and I loved the work that he showed me so I didn't even bother to meet with anyone else. I'm really glad that I chose Studio Tran because every other part of your wedding gets put away or you forget about but your pictures and video will be around forever (as long as you take them through an evacuation!) and my pictures came out AWESOME! (thanks Beebe)
Wedding Day Thoughts & Favorite Vendors
Dee with Bella Blooms did a beautiful job with the flowers. She is amazing! Dan Barnes with Zuma Video was great! He was very friendly and a pleasure to work with. The food at our reception, which was at The Balcony, was awesome, as well as all the servers and staff there. They were so accomodating to all of our needs! Our cakes, which were done by Maurice's, were beautiful and delicous and exactly how I had pictured in my head! All of these vendors helped us to have a beautiful wedding that we will remember for the rest of our lives! Thank you all so much! |

Vaishali & Nihal

|

We had a fabulous time photographing Vaishali and Nihal's wedding. It was absolutely gorgeous with every detail thought out. Robin Legendre , Shali's coordinator was great pulling it all together and we had fun working with her and her staff.
Shali and Nihal's ceremony was held at the Pavillion of Two Sisters. A beautiful cocktail hour was held inside the botanical gardens and the reception followed at the New Orleans Museum of Art.
Chad & Dayna Dyle created a same day video edit that came out awesome, you can view it here
Thanks to Leslie and Trent for all their help. |

I had a chance to hang out with my good friends Jason Cohen, and Jamie Orillion,. Jason was working on photographying Suzanne at her studio located on Magazine Street. Her website: Suzanne Perron
I wanted to go hang out and help Jason him in anyway. I also was able to get a few shots of them both working.
