How we met:
Leo and I met Spring 2006 downtown New Orleans. After a tough exam in college, my study group and I went out to relax. Leo was invited, by one of my study group members, to come hang out with us. He showed up and immediately sat down next to me. He introduced himself and told me I was very pretty. As I was leaving, Leo asked me for a ride to his car. He pretended not to remember where he left his car so he could ride around with me "looking" for it. He gave me his number and I never called him until almost two months later at a party for my study group member. We talked again and he picked me up by the waist and spun me around! I laughed...and said, "put me down!" I called him later that week. We went out, and the rest is history!
The Proposal:
Leo proposed on my birthday, March 2, 2007. He tricked me into thinking he forgot my birthday. The whole day passed and he said nothing. Then later that night he asked me if I want to go out to eat. I knew it was a trick so I went along with it. We went to Houston's Restaurant where my family, his family and some friends were gathered. After we ate the waiter brought out my birthday cake, everyone sang and Leo got down on one knee. He asked me to marry him...I said yes!
Why Studio Tran?
We chose Studio Tran because they are the most awesome photographers in the business. Beebe and Corine are so talented and creative and not to mention fun to work with! They exceeded all of our expectations from engagements to bridal portraits up to the wedding....amazing!
Thoughts about the day:
Our wedding was more than we could have imagined. Everything was so beautiful and all of the details came together just as planned. Our vendors were all amazing and delivered excellent work as expected. We had such a great time at our wedding. Most brides say the day flew by in a blurr and they don't remember much. I feel the opposite. We enjoyed and remember every second of our glamorous day. |
